Intermediate Wheel Throwing · Level Up
(Der Workshop wird auf Deutsch unterrichtet und auf Wunsch auch auf Englisch.)
Have you built a solid foundation in the beginner class and feel ready to go further?
Do you want to move beyond small bowls and start making everyday tableware you’ll love using every day. — like pasta plates, ramen bowls, or generous salad bowls?
This intermediate class is all about leveling up your wheel-throwing skills.
What you’ll focus on
You’ll learn two essential techniques that help you move from beginner to working confidently on the wheel — allowing you to create larger, more functional forms
Centering larger amounts of clay
We’ll work with 1–1.5 kg of clay, focusing on correct posture, efficient use of strength, and better body control — so centering feels more stable and less exhausting.
Building even and strong walls
You’ll practice pulling walls evenly and confidently, creating balanced forms that are both functional and beautiful.
